タイ土建築ワークショップ＆見学会 Thai Earth Building Workshop and Tour

March 10-17 helped organize an earth building workshop and tour of earthen architecture in Thailand.

3月10-17日にタイ土建築ワークショップ＆見学会を行いました。

Workshop themes included:
Producing Adobes
Producing and Laying Compressed Earth Bricks
Poured Earth
Rammed Earth
Wattle and Daub
Plastering
Egg Pack Earth Building
and producing coconut oil for tool maintenance

圧縮土ブロック作りと積み

竹小舞
土塗り
卵パック土構法
道具の整備のため、ココナツオイル作り

The workshop took place at Daruma EcoFarm in Bang Pra. Daruma EcoFarm is run by Permaculturist Neil Willmann, a physicist by education, jack-of-all-trades by profession, and currently a PhD student at a university in Thailand researching poured earth construction.
ワークショップはバングプラ市にあるダルマ･エコファームというパーマカルチャー農園で行われました。ダルマ･エコファームはパーマカルチャリストのニール･ウィルマン氏に運営されていまます。ニールさんは大学院で物理学を勉強しましたが、現在タイの大学でポアドアース構法を研究しています。

ニールと日系のうこっけい（実は2010年にカイルが研究室で育っていたうこっけいの卵をタイへ持って行って、その時以来、ニールさんが日本のウコッケイをタイで増やしています。

Bang Pra is located near the ocean and is in close proximity to several classical Thai markets.

バングプラ市は海と接していていくつかの典型的な市場を主催しています。

Neil and his wife Su run Vimaya Spa. Thai herb ball making and half price massages were offered as a part of the course.

ニールさんは奥さんと一緒にビマヤ・スパというスパを経営しています。タイハーブボール作りと半額マッサージはワークショップの一部です。

Su's older sister, Pban, catered the course and cooked us three delicious meals each day.

毎日奥さんのお姉さん、ピバン氏が大変美味しいタイ料理を作ってくれました。

But the best part of the workshop was the people. I can't remember having so much fun!
