いくつかの研究によると、壁塗り土に水牛糞を足すと耐水性と強度が増えるそうです。撥水性も高まりますが、透湿性が下がらないそうです。そして、作業性が良い細かい植物繊維もいっぱい入っていますので、曲げる強度と引っ張る強度も高まって、ひび割れの対策にもなります。
