Quentin and Julie live in a beautiful rammed earth passive solar heated home in Oracle, Arizona. Quentin is a rammed earth builder with 33 years of experience and Julie is a designer with excellent taste. Together they run Rammed Earth Passive Solar Homes, Inc.

 

Four different soils were used to create different colors. Cement is added to increase bearing strength and resistance to erosion.
